As a therapist, I hear many sad and tragic stories. And I have noticed one thing very clearly in this experience of being a witness for these stories--For many of us, the process of healing is the process of internal growth, through understanding the meaning of what happened to us.
⁡⁡
I have been working to visually describe this through my artmaking/printmaking. Here is how it turned out. And the story goes like this:

⁡At the time of the event, a storm arrives.⁡
⁡It leaves unsettled feelings and sensations. ⁡There is a ball of tangled yarn left inside of you. ⁡
⁡You may not know what it is or what's in it. ⁡
⁡As you explore it, you see a sprout coming out of it. ⁡⁡Maybe what happened to you means something--something important.
May you find the true meaning of what happened to you, out of the tangled yarn. ⁡
