Service Description

Have fun with Intaglio printmaking art! Intaglio is a type of printmaking where your design is incised into a plate with a sharp tool such as an etching needle. Plates can be made of different materials – copper, zinc, plexiglass, etc. For this workshop, we will upcycle plastic containers as an etching plate and print original pieces of art. You will learn how to print an image by hand without a printing press -- so that you can do it at home again on your own in the future! No prior printmaking experience is required. All materials will be supplied -- Just bring yourself.
