Mokuhanga is a traditional Japanese method of printmaking. It is non-toxic, as it uses water-based ink. You will find one original, hand-pulled Mokuhanga woodblock print in this pouch. Printed on washi paper from Japan.

(Approx paper size 4 x 6 inch)

 

You will get one of the following traditional Japanese patterns:

 

  • Seigai-ha (Blue ocean wave) - Eternal peace
  • Ryu-sui (Flowing water) - purity/washing away sufferings and diasters
  • Botan (Peony) - happiness/wealth
  • Asa-no-ha (Hemp leaf) - Child’s healthy growth/ward off evils
  • Kiku (Crythanthmum) - long life/prevent illnesses and disasters
  • Ta-ke (Bamboo) - Growth/prosperity
